Privacy Policy

Replyze ("we", "us") is an iOS app that generates AI-powered reply suggestions for social media posts and messages. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. The short version: the posts you share with Replyze are never stored on our servers, and you can export or delete all of your data from the app at any time.

1. Data we collect

Account data

  • Email address and name (when you sign up with email, Apple, or Google).
  • Authentication is handled by Supabase; we never see or store your password.

Reply data

  • The replies Replyze generates for you, along with the tone, platform, and length you chose — this powers your Reply History.
  • The original post text you share is processed in memory and never written to our database. It is also stripped from our error-monitoring tools.

Usage & device data

  • Daily reply counts (to enforce the free limit), app version, OS version, device model.
  • A push-notification token, only if you enable notifications.
  • Product analytics events (via PostHog) and crash reports (via Sentry) to improve the app.

2. How AI generation works

When you request replies, the post text is sent over an encrypted connection (TLS) to our server, which forwards it to an AI provider — Google (Gemini), OpenAI, or Groq — to generate suggestions. The post text is used only to produce your replies and is not retained by us afterward. We do not use your content to train AI models.

3. Advertising

Free accounts can watch rewarded ads (Google AdMob) to earn extra replies. AdMob may process advertising identifiers in line with Google's privacy policy. Pro subscribers see no ads.

4. Payments

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your card details — only a confirmation of your subscription status from Apple.

5. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

  • Export: download everything we hold about you from Settings → Export My Data.
  • Deletion: delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account. This is immediate and irreversible.
  • Correction: update your profile information in Settings at any time.

6. Data retention & security

Reply history is kept while your account exists and deleted when you delete your account. All traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to the operator of the service.

7. Service providers

We rely on: Supabase (database & authentication), Upstash (rate limiting), Google / OpenAI / Groq (AI generation), Google AdMob (ads for free tier), Apple (payments & push notifications), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), and Resend (transactional email).

8. Children

Replyze is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We will update this page when the policy changes and note the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
